Dear Potential Investor: Appalachian Water and Soil, Inc. has several inventions for which we are seeking investors. We currently have a "patent pending" on a device that can be used by homeowners to test their water. We are seeking to license or manufacture and would like funding to move the process forward. A business plan is completed. The patent will be available for licensing. A working prototype and demonstration are possible if travel and expenses are covered. Proper documentation, legal recordings, non-disclosure agreements exist and all other legal formalities have been observed. We propose to invite investments from between $6,000 to $9,000 or amounts up to our goal which is $125,000.00 for the next three years. Our proposal is to award one half the royalties to the inventor and divide the other half amongst the investors in fractions equivalent to the fraction of the total that they invested. We anticipate a return within 5 years. There is a good market for the device, and more information is available to serious individuals who wish to make a commitment to invest. The inventor, the contract attorney, and the patent firm are well established and well reputed in their respective fields. Resume's will be available and any other documentation, within law and ethical consideration, will be made available to any potential investors. We are currently interested in having a marketing firm assist us in the next steps of this process and are interviewing firms to complete our "team".
